West Yost Proudly Sponsors MCWRA as They Hosted Students from Rice University

West Yost recently co-sponsored the Mountain Counties Water Resources Association​ tours of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery​, Folsom Lake, and the Placer County Water Agency​’s Foothill Water Treatment Plant for students from Houston’s Rice University​. West Yost’s Abigail Madrone discussed watershed and groundwater resources issues at the confluence of the North and Middle Fork of the American River. During the tour, students participating in Rice’s Alternative Spring Break program learned about water policy, water justice, and water production.
